Your Initial Laser Lipo Consultation

Prior to your first laser lipo treatment at local, family-owned Body Slender Laser Center, you are required to complete a medical questionnaire and consent form to ensure that you have no contraindications to the laser lipo procedure.

Our staff wants our clients to have realistic expectations regarding what can be achieved in inch loss and fat elimination and understand how diet and exercise will affect the results.
You will be weighed and measured before every laser lipo treatment and the results will be recorded. A marker pen is used in order to measure the exact same area each time. Weight gain will impact the effectiveness of the treatment.

Get Before & After Photos to Show Progress

Your treatment area will be photographed before you begin your laser lipo course and after your last treatment to show your results. Unless agreed by you in writing, your photographs will remain confidential. If before and after photographs are used with your consent, the images will be cropped at the neck to protect your identity.

How Strawberry Laser Inch Loss Works

When the laser paddles are placed on the skin, the Class 2, 3B lasers penetrate the skin just deep enough to reach the layers of fat (9-13 mm). When the fat cells absorb the energy from the lasers, a rapid chain of events takes place.

Pores form on the surface of the cells, causing them to spill out their contents of water, glycerol, and free fatty acids. This content moves into the interstitial space beneath the fatty layer in the skin, which enables the cells to become malleable, achieving adipocyte cell reduction.

This disruption does not affect the neighboring structures such as the blood vessels and nerves. The lymphatic system removes the contents via the liver and the kidneys where it is processed in the same way as fatty foods. Any content that remains in the body is naturally passed out in the urine.

For clients with darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick scale 3 – 6), we recommend only using systems with 10 laser paddles. This reduces the possibility of hypo-pigmentation as the duration of the laser lipo treatment is reduced to only 10 minutes per area.
